Imagine  you had diabetes and were required to take medication to control it.   If that drug were Actos you might now have  serious concerns about bladder cancer.    Actos, which was very recently the best-selling diabetes medication in  the United States, has been known to increase the risk of getting bladder  cancer since before it was even approved, which was in 1999.  The earliest test, the ones on animals,  showed an increase in Actos bladder cancer, but there seemed to be little  concern for that.   The market for  diabetes drugs is in the billions, so there’s huge incentive for companies to  produce and market one of the top diabetes drugs.   Can you imagine having a serious disease  like diabetes, taking a medication to control it, and then finding out that  medication caused you to get cancer?   It’s horrifying to believe that your prescription medication can even be  dangerous, despite the warnings on TV commercials.   But to have your medication be behind  something like bladder cancer is just unbelievable.   The company that makes Actos will be facing  numerous Actos bladder cancer lawsuits, perhaps even tens of thousands of them.   No one deserves to get cancer, but to get  bladder cancer after taking the diabetes drug Actos is just wrong.   More  information can be found at www.actosbladdercancerlawsuits.com.
