The Military Claims Act is somewhat similar to the U.S. Federal Tort Claims Act except the damaged individual has no right to file a suit against the United States if the Air Force rules against the case. Under the guidelines of the Military Claims Act, a case is directed against the offending entity, such as the Army, Navy, Air Force or Marines and not the government.
